At Severn Edge Farm, we understand that smallholdings and backyard flocks are more than just hobbies — they’re a way of life. Whether you keep a few sheep, a herd of goats, a couple of pigs, or a flock of chickens, our team is here to support the health and productivity of your animals.

We offer friendly, practical, and affordable veterinary care tailored to the needs of smallholders and poultry keepers across Shropshire and the Midlands.

From sheep to goats, alpacas to chickens, whatever your smallholding comprises we are here to help. As well as being on hand to talk to or visit if you are worried about any of your animals, we offer services such as foot trimming, worm and fluke egg counts in house, castration, dehorning and vaccine administration.

Where possible, we can coordinate vaccine rounds to get the most out of a bottle of vaccine and save you buying more than you need. A lambing course is held every year in early spring for anyone new to lambing or wanting to refresh their skills.

We are happy to see smaller animals in practice and have a set up examination room and anaesthetic machine to carry out any procedures we need to.

We also offer starter health plans for new smallholders and poultry keepers to help you set up for long-term success.
